Quark IT strongly believes that network security is not only essential to the success of our business, but is also essential to the continued success of your business. There needs to be a careful balance between security and accessibility, and unfortunately blind faith in the honesty of your fellow Man will not always prove wise. The damage that can be caused to your business by sensitive information leaks and data corruption or loss can be unrecoverable. Your network is similar to a garden, and network security is akin to gardening. You need to tend to the garden's needs, protecting it against grasshoppers, caterpillars and other unwanted pests, watering and fertilizing it, and occasionally cutting out diseased sections. Only then will you see the fruits of your labour. It is an ongoing task - not something that can be performed once and then forgotten about. If you don't continue this regular maintenance, it will quickly fall into disrepair and becomes incapable of fulfilling its purpose.
